Scentry

Privacy Policy

Last Updated: June 24, 2026

This policy applies to the current Scentry iPhone app and related support pages.

1. What Scentry Does

Scentry is a personal fragrance tracking tool. It helps you log wear sessions, attach a bottle photo or fallback icon, record notes, save an optional voice note, compare two sessions of the same scent, and export comparison images for personal use.

2. Information You Create in the App

When you use Scentry, the app may process information you choose to enter or save, including scent names, wear scene, spray spot, weather, spray count, stage, projection, note text, entry dates, optional bottle photos, optional voice recordings, and compare exports.

The app may also process local account identifiers, coin balance records, purchase status returned by Apple, and app settings needed to keep the product working on your device.

3. How Information Is Used

Scentry uses this information to create and display your entry archive, support side-by-side comparison, save optional voice notes, manage coin-based premium actions, prepare image exports, maintain app stability, and provide basic support.

4. Permissions

5. Local Storage and Purchases

Scentry is designed around local on-device use. Entry data, selected images, voice recordings, local account state, and coin balance data may be stored on your device so the app can work without a traditional account system.

Coin packs are offered through Apple In-App Purchase. Apple handles payment processing and may provide transaction details needed to confirm purchases and deliver coins. Scentry does not receive your full payment card information.

6. Sharing and Disclosure

Scentry does not sell your personal information. Information may be shared only when reasonably necessary to operate the app, process App Store purchases, comply with law, protect rights or safety, or respond to support requests.

7. Your Controls

You can edit or delete entries inside the app, clear local data, sign out of the local session, or delete the local account state. Deleting the local account also clears saved data and purchased coin balance on that device.

You can also change permission choices later in iOS Settings.

8. Retention

Local records remain on your device until you edit them, clear data, remove the app, or delete the local account state. Apple may retain purchase records according to its own policies and legal obligations.
